Preparation for QCHack 2022

Things to install

Each hackathon participant is strongly recommended to have a computer with the following installed:

Required

You need to install the following software packages for the hackathon:

• Python 3.6 or later
• Jupyter notebook
• Qiskit

You can follow the instructions here to install the required software packages, or here if you prefer watching a video.

Optional

• Integrated development environment (IDE) or text editor for coding

  • PyCharm (for python)
  • Atom text editor
  • Visual Studio Code

• For making quantum games

  • Qiskit for GameDev toolkit
  • Pygame game engine
  • Unity game engine
  • Godot game engine
