Hi @m417z,
there's an issue with the Classic Explorer navigation bar mod on Windows 24H2 26100.2314 (fresh install). There has been a thin line in the explorer tab for some time but it has been fixed with a recent update by Microsoft.

Your mod however reintroduces this bug. I think it's because your mod switches the arrangement of the explorer address bar and menu?

Is there a way to fix this?

Furthermore, if you've installed the mod but disabled it, the dropdown menu of the explorer 'view' menu opens to the top instead of the bottom. If you uninstall the mod it's working fine again.

Thanks and have a Happy New Year!

Could someone just give me any feedback please if this issue is reproduceable elsewhere? Thanks

The mod doesn't do much styling, it only hides the new command bar, and makes the old command bar show up. As can be seen in your screenshots, the separation line just moves up as a result.

If you'd like to try and hide it, you can try the experimental Windows 11 File Explorer Styler mod. You can find instructions for installing it in the Windhawk discord server, in this thread.

Currently, there's no other way to style this part of explorer.

Thanks for the info @m417z. Yes, that's what I noticed. I was just hoping it would be possible to get the same look as in 22H2 or 23H2 prior to the latest updates.

Also again, if you've installed the mod but disabled it, the dropdown menu of the explorer 'more' menu opens to the top instead of the bottom. If you uninstall the mod it's working fine again.

I will have a look at the experimental file explorer styler mod. Thanks again

I'm not sure why that happens, the mod doesn't do anything menu-related, but once the mod is disabled, an explorer restart will clear all possible side effects since the mod does no permanent changes.
