the direction along which notifications slide in and out does not always match that which would correspond to the closest screen edge relative to their placement on one's screen.

for instance, horizontally centering notifications (along the bottom edge) will result in the same animation direction as that of a standard, bottom right one, as opposed to the expected vertical motion relative to the bottom edge of the screen.

oddly enough, when left aligned, only the initial slide in animation flows properly ; whilst the consecutive slide out one seems to respond to a different variable than its predecessor in time, always sliding right, resulting in a visually jarring cropping.

i now reckon this may better be qualified as a bug report than as a feature request.
