Remapped right CTRL to DEL but repeat doesn't work

I've remapped the right CTRL button to DEL, it works but if you keep it pressed DEL doesn't repeat like it does when you press the real DEL button. Mapping done:

Special: Right Ctrl (E0_1D) TO Special: Delete (E0_53)

Windows 11 Pro.

Ah, that may be a problem due to certain technical limitations on modifier keys. I think I've heard of similar issues before. Basically, a modifier key may send just one KeyDown event even when held down.

I believe there's absolutely nothing SharpKeys can do to alleviate it, as SharpKeys can only add a Registry remapping between two scan codes and has nothing whatsoever to do with the further behavior of those keys.
