Image search doesn't find latest images for e.g. Fedora or Debian

I am a bit confused. When I search for "Fedora" or "Debian", it doesn't find the latest images.

However, I can enter "fedora" (lower-case!) or "debian" and click on Custom:

This will then magically retrieves the URL registry.fedoraproject.org/fedora:latest.

Mabye I don't know how to correctly use DistroShelf, but that is confusing for me because:

• I thought Custom means to enter a custom image URL.
• I don't understand why I can't just select the latest image for the distribution.

The list comes from the command distrobox create --compatibility. The distros shown are tested by the distrobox maintainers or members of the community that decided to add an item in that list.

If I remember correctly, the custom value is passed directly to docker/podman, which will then try to resolve that value as an alias.

For example

$ podman run -it --rm fedora
Resolved "fedora" as an alias (/etc/containers/registries.conf.d/000-shortnames.conf)
Trying to pull registry.fedoraproject.org/fedora:latest...

Ideally you would put the image URL which is unambiguous, but you can still put any value that docker/podman can resolve.

I appreciate suggestions on how to improve the user experience to make this clearer (without having to add a wall of text in the interface)
