I installed metasploit v 6.13.1 (I think, it's not clear from the filename) and had to exclude it's install folder and run the installer from the command line to get it actually setup. That was all fine, however, Windows Defender claims that Vigorf.A and DDEDownloader!ml are both active with the installer in my Downloads folder as the containerFile. In addition I can't delete the installer from Downloads. Uninstall seemed to work, except for the installer itself. Both deleting from the UI and using rm from command line just hang.
UPDATE: I restarted into the command line and removed it easily there. Should I raise an issue though? It doesn't seem right that exploits would be running from the installer, or at least that Windows Defender thinks they are
