No notification area ("systray") tooltip (1.11 RC 1)

Describe the bug
When the mouse cursor hovers Workrave's notification area icon, a tooltip shows in 1.10.54. But with 1.11 RC 1, on the same PC, nothing happens.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Move the mouse cursor over Workrave's icon
2. Let the cursor still for at least 1 s

Expected behavior
A tooltip with counters should appear:
