eslint is crashing with oom when upgrading to v5

We're trying to upgrade redis to v5, but eslint is constantly crashing on the v5 packages.
Any Ideas what's going wrong?
We already use skipLibCheck:true.

It could be connected to the ts performance issue, we will be working to resolve it in the (hopefully) very near future
