Negative refractive index

I want to create a medium with a negative refractive index, but since Snell's Law applies differently in that case, I think I need to modify the code starting from that part. I keep getting errors, though... Has anyone successfully built this before?

@briidee3 It seems that the negative refractive index you implemented in 3b05698 does not work properly. I will check it if you do not have time.

@potatochip-yum Can you describe the error you are getting? Also note that you can use Tools -> Other -> More tools -> Custom surface to enter any formula of ray interactions, without modifying the code.

Apologies for the delayed response, and for not mentioning this sooner; I had initially intended to finish fixing this and making a pull request, but eventually got side tracked with other projects I've been working on (as well as classes).
