wkhtmltopdf seems like a good open-source option for people who don't want to buy a Prince license. It would be cool if Dactyl could be configured to use that or other HTML-to-PDF tools.

looks like https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pdfkit provides a native wrapper for wkhtmltopdf already so that should make it easier

A DocRaptor option could give access to Prince without the upfront Prince license cost.

That's a neat idea, but I think it may be challenging to make that interface work in a secure way.
