Description

Fedora 40 updated gcc to version 14. After this. the test gtest-math-matrix-test-testMatrixTSparse started failing on aarch64, ppc64le and s390x. The test still succeeds on ix86 and x86_64.

Random guess: somehow with gcc 14 (C++20?), the default equality operator is called instead of the custom

The other theory could be that data are not contiguous so this fails:
memcmp(m1.GetMatrixArray(),m2.GetMatrixArray(), m1.GetNoElements()*sizeof(Element));

Hi, thanks for the report! It was a very helpful hint that we need to make sure newer compilers are supported on ARM, and I made some PRs to fix remaining failures. I have ran the CI on ARM64 with GCC 14 via AlmaLinux 10 in #20501, and this test is passing fine. So I assume the problem is fixed and I'll close this issue.
