I wish to takeover this plugin. It has several issues, some I already have fixes for. I created my first PR over a week ago and tried to contact the author with a comment on it and there has been no response.

Hi, I see no active PR’s on the repo. Feel free to create a PR so I can review the code. TBH I probably won’t be continuing dev on this, so as long as you keep my name in the copyright and author list have at it

Sorry, this isn't clear to me -- are you saying you're fine with the takeover?

Alternatively, you can grant @mcscoobe collaborator+merge access to your repository, and add them to the authors field of the manifest file here. Can you let us know how you want to proceed?
