The project is supposed to be an extension for browsers which helps you draw or type on screen and then gives back the position on screen and size as required (em, rem, px, %). As a student who has made some projects for front end development, I find myself wasting a lot of time trying to size and resize objects and check again and again if it is fine. I think this can help reduce the time wasted.
