In the 'Edit variable' window, there appears to be an issue when attempting to add text in the "Literal Question", "Interviewer Question", and "Post Question" boxes. When I add text to one of these boxes and hit 'Update Variable', it saves properly the first time I do it. However, any future attempts to edit and save text in any of the three boxes results in the text reverting to whatever was written in the first save when 'Update Variable' was hit. Even if the box was left blank, any edits after the first save does not apply, and it reverts back to an empty text box. Essentially, after a question text is added in as variable data, it can't be changed again.

I have had this issue occur in the following datasets:
Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) 2022, Cycle 2 [Canada]:

Labour Force Survey, January 2025 [Canada]:

I have included screenshots below:

1) This is a variable which I saved 1 time before

**2) I add in "TEST." to the three 'Question' text boxes. This is before I hit 'Update Variables'. **

**3) Text box edits/additions do not save, and it reverts back to what existed prior. This is after I hit 'Update Variables'. **
