I am also wondering the same. Thank you! |
Also looking for this, thanks! |
Same doesn't seem to show or update on snap. |
Same here! |
Same, Docker version is not a solution for my setup... When will snap package be made available ? |
Just adding to the chorus..., please make this update available as a snap package 🙏 |
ditto EDIT: updated to docker container, easy to do, just backed up /user/snap/overseerr/common folder and place it in the location you are mounting as the docker volume and all your settings just carry across. Took maybe 10 minutes to get it all up and running from start to finish. |
Hi, I am also not able to use the Docker setup and would like a Snap update if possible. |
this.. would be much appreciated. thanks |
has @sct lost control over the snapcraft site/login maybe? |
Snap builds are unfortunately disabled at this time because of issues with building on GitHub actions. I recommend switching to docker to continue to receive updates. |
Oh no! 😢 -- I don't want to/can't use docker. Any chance an update will happen sometime later? I'd rather wait some weeks/months than use docker... |
issues with building on GitHub actions? can you elaborate? how can you migrate libraries from wsl snap to docker? |
I'm in the same boat, I don't want to use Docker. If the snap branch is dead, can we get an installer that doesn't rely on Docker? I appreciate the project and the work you've done, but this beating around the bush is getting ridiculous. |
I switched to jellyseerr for this reason, they support bare metal installs. Thanks to sct for overseerr, have used it happily 😸 |
yeah can we please get an update on the snaps version. I need to know if I need to swap to jellyseerr |
Nope, no snap update available and no response from developer. On Aug 29, 2025, at 2:46 PM, koogunmo ***@***.***> wrote:

No, just set it up via docker.

@withit Not sure how much you can trust AI, but a google search of "how to migrate the data from the Overseerr snap install to an Overseerr docker install?" returns instructions that appear to be helpful and possibly might actually work. |
Uh oh!
