Request Future Seasons - Quotas

Hi, all. I'm looking to implement a way to request only future seasons for TV shows, to make use of the request only new seasons feature on Sonarr. I have the logic and requests working as intended, however, it brings up some questions.

I'd like to ask the current dev team how quotas should be handled. I see three options:

• Count it as one request so that it isn't spammable and simple
• Count it as N upcoming seasons via metadata, hard to determine accurately if upcoming seasons are yet to be announced
• Count it as zero, requires trust in userbase and doesn't follow quota philosophy

This would solve #332. My current setup introduces a new field in the season selection modal:

However, I wonder if this would better be suited to implement a system that creates a new request when a new season is released, though that could lead to unintended quota usage. Open for ideas.

And a couple remarks on UI/UX:

• I don't know if it's the screenshot not representing correctly the colors, but it looks like it's not following well the rest of the design in the app.
• I would also put this at the bottom of the Season Request modal instead of the top, so it's integrated with the other options.

I'm using DarkReader, so that is likely making the colors appear differently. I'll make sure to disable DarkReader when testing to ensure the design matches. And makes sense, I can move it to the bottom.

And I agree, one request would be the most straightforward without implementing an entire system to track new seasons as they come out with this option enabled. Appreciate the feedback.
