cdp.nested_clicknot working?

Hello - i try to use the cdp.nested_click with the following code -
to click on an element in a shadow root

from seleniumbase import SB
with SB(uc = True, headless = False) as sb:
  sb.activate_cdp_mode("https://www.immobilienscout24.de/expose/159729925")
  sb.cdp.sleep(5)
  sb.cdp.nested_click('//div[@id="usercentrics-root"]', '//button[@data-testid="uc-accept-all-button"]')

But i allways get an error:

Why is this not working?
(i don´t want to use tab-solutions or something like that - isn´t it somehow possible to click on an element in a shadow root?

I'm not seeing '//div[@id="usercentrics-root"]' anywhere when I load that site. Make sure it's a valid selector.

Note that nested_click() is used to click on elements inside an iframe, where the first selector is that of the iframe, and the second selector is that of an element inside the iframe.

Its this cookie window i get when i run the program-
(i only get this window when i run the python-code - not when i am opening the link in the chrome-browser)

And in the shadow-root is the button i would like to press

Can´t i also use sb.cdp.nested_click to click on a button in a shadow root?

Is there really no other solution then pressing this tabs?

When i am using the "normal" selenium i allways do:

    shadowRoot = driver.find_element(By.XPATH,'//div[@id="usercentrics-root"]').shadow_root
    shadowRoot.find_element(By.CSS_SELECTOR, "button[data-testid='bahf-cookie-disclaimer-btn-alle']").click()

Is this not possible with selenumbase / cdp?

It can't always see into Shadow-root. However, if you can use regular Selenium (and you don't need stealth), then use that. Otherwise, counting tab presses is the most effective way... it works, it's easy, and can be done with one line of code.

Worked for me. You may need to adjust your script with a different number of \t based on your GeoLocation.

I do not get the focus on the cookie-popup.
That means that the tab-clicks are happening in the "windows behind the cookie-window" and not ON the cookie window.
Is it somehow possible to get the focus on the cookie-window in the front?

You could try using PyAutoGUI to click somewhere on the window.
