"Failed to start Switch Root" when booting from live ISO #18

Description

@ShaunTheSalvo

Describe the bug
"Failed to start Switch Root" error when booting from live ISO created from fresh installation of vanilla Arch Linux.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Complete fresh install of Arch Linux. NB I have only tested from a Gnome installation as yet, have not tried any other desktops.
  2. Install Systemback, and create a live ISO of the newly installed system.
  3. Boot from the live ISO --> error message as per screenshot. System appears to freeze at this point - attempting to "Press enter to continue" does nothing. Also CTRL-ALT-DEL to attempt to reboot does not work; need to hold down power button to force shutdown the PC.

Expected behavior
Expected the live ISO to boot into Arch Linux desktop

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

OS specs:
Arch Linux x64, Zen kernel 6.3.9. Gnome desktop. Fresh installation of basic system with Gnome desktop and very few other apps installed (just web browser and standard utils like Nemo file manager etc) made using Archinstall from official Arch ISO.

Additional context
On a recently updated Arch Linux system originally installed about March 2023 - live ISOs created from this system will boot with no problems. The problem only seems to occur when working from a brand new fresh installation.
