Legal Disclaimer & Terms of Use

1. Purpose and Scope

This software is provided as general-purpose networking infrastructure for research, education, experimentation, resilience engineering, and privacy-preserving communications.

It is intended as a technical toolkit, not as a service, platform, or operational network.

The authors and contributors do not operate, provide, host, manage, endorse, or coordinate any networks, services, or infrastructure using this software.

2. No Service Provision

This repository provides software only.

The authors and contributors:

  • Do not provide access to any servers
  • Do not operate any circumvention services
  • Do not distribute access credentials
  • Do not manage users or clients
  • Do not offer connectivity, routing, proxying, or tunneling services

Any deployment, operation, or usage of this software is performed entirely by third parties, at their own discretion and responsibility.

3. No Jurisdiction-Specific Targeting

This project is not designed, marketed, or intended for use in any specific country, jurisdiction, or political context.

No part of this project is targeted at bypassing any particular government system, regulation, restriction, or policy.

Any such use is incidental and the sole responsibility of the user.

4. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws
  • Compliance with regulations, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Risk assessment and operational security
  • Ethical and lawful use of the software

The authors and contributors assume no responsibility for how this software is used.

5. No Facilitation of Unlawful Activity

No operational support is provided for:

  • Deployment
  • Configuration
  • Hosting
  • User onboarding
  • Network operation
  • Circumvention usage
  • Access provisioning

Any documentation is provided for technical reference only.

9. Export Control and Sanctions

This project is published as publicly available open-source software.

Users are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable export control laws, sanctions regimes, and regulatory requirements.

The authors and contributors make no representations regarding jurisdictional legality.

10. Severability

If any provision of this disclaimer is held to be unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
