This a great package and should be on CRAN so the users could import it in their packages.

Thanks.

Good to hear that you find the package useful. Thanks. Unfortunately, I just find it too time-consuming to make my packages CRAN-ready and maintain them on CRAN. Therefore I decided to rather host my packages on my own drat-powered repository. But I would not mind at all if you (or somebody else?) would become the CRAN maintainer for the package. (For example, Roman Zenka was willing to contribute to the restorepoint package to make it ready for CRAN and to become its CRAN maintainer.). Given that the package really has very little code, that might not be too complicated.

Hi @skranz,

If you want I could be the maintainer of this package. I've fought a lot of trying to create formulas for models and this package is a real lifesaver.

Tell me how do we proceed?

That would be great. Thanks. Maybe you just fork the repository to make a version that passes all CRAN checks and adds you in the DESCRIPTION as CRAN maintainer and package contributer (keeping me as creator), similar to here:

https://github.com/skranz/restorepoint/blob/master/DESCRIPTION

You can then make a pull request to update also this main fork and then just submit the package to CRAN. If any questions come up, we can discuss them on this issue, or you can send me an email.
