Why does Firespitter AVC files marks it as compatible with KSP 1.8 ?

From the Firespitter.version:

}

It was not build for 1.8 so why mark it as compatible ? I have a horde of MJ user complaining about loading problem and it turns out they all have this incompatible Firespitter version.

Resolved by an override on CKAN side

Actually it is compiled against 1.8...

So not sure what that override was, but it should not be there given it's 1.8 compatible.

Your previous version (released in august ?) had the KSP max version set to 1.8.9. Which created a lot of headaches when KSP 1.8 got out and that old Firespitter version crashed the loading screen when loaded with an other mod that enumerates all loaded class (like MJ). I had am override added to that specific version so that it would not be installed on KSP 1.8 anymore.
