Crash on startup on Windows

The program doesn't open a window at all and crashes when I try to open it.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
OS: Windows 11 Pro 26220.7344

Is this a new install, or have you used REHex on this machine previously? It seems to launch fine on my Windows 11 VM, which is updating now on the off chance it is something that has changed in Windows since I last used it.

It's a new install, but I have tried to use rehex in 2023. The same thing would happen. It wouldn't open and this would appear in the event viewer.

No idea why that might be the case - I haven't seen it do that anywhere.

You could try renaming the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\REHex registry key in case there's some data in there from previous attempts which is making it choke, or try the x86 version instead of x64 to see if that makes any difference.
