<p>The purpose of this example is to demonstrate you what is possible to do
when doing interactive maps. 3D globe and presenting data on top of such
is a nice way to visualize data as it presents the surface of the Earth
correctly (unlike e.g. when using Mercator projection).</p>
<p>This is based on <a class="reference external" href="https://github.com/python-visualization/folium/blob/d2c495b871c09dac656b4fc4f8b153e36f1eed14/examples/Hacking_folium_3D_globe.ipynb">this Folium
example</a></p>
