What should a potential GUI for palmpy be able to do?

What would be nice if a GUI for palmpy exists?

Some ideas:

• After clicking a button "run", a static driver should be created.
• The GUI should have fields to select input files (multiple file wizards to select the .shp/.tiff files)
• The GUI should have a map, which displays
  • The extents of his selected geodata files
  • He should be able to draw a rectangle into the map, and the GUI spits out the coordinates
  • Should a geodata preview be available? This could be madness, thinking of high detail shp files...
• All palmpy namelist options should be settable (do landcover etc, and be explained)

Open questions:

• how does the user run the GUI? His geodata should remain local, since uploading it to a cloud and getting the static driver back is imho not smart.
• How to manage dependencies? Package all the packages/scripts into a executable? Could work.
