I love the new integration of @ducksquaddd's Stella bot. Wow, really seamless integration and exceptional to have prompt ability outside of a public forum. 1
Lately, we've seen a lot more use of AI drafting documentation, so I think it's worth shaping the future development together. Especially because I understand Crimson no longer contracts with the Foundation.
This came up today in image generation and drafting Bri helped iterate on in #1828 (comment). And Tim helped me out with some misplaced GPT output in #723 (comment) last year.
I've been searching endlessly through the commit history, but I can't figure out exactly how the new feature (pictured) gets deployed. There's just this documentation page.
As an aside, this intro page looks absolutely phenomenal. Wow, from the branding. I think the popup button loads in with runtime scripts like the Google Tag Manager, based on code and network logs.
Presuming we've moved the Claude onto SDF infrastructure, I'd also like to explore some of the interface designs fleshed out in #962. Maybe my eyes can find peace with a dark mode?2
Note
There's plenty of indicator for demand in #948 chats, and it should be easy enough to drum up support in Discord. The centralized parts like private feedback should be easy enough to abstract away from the embed.
Footnotes
Wild, but I have a lot of coworkers who find asking people questions (that might be dumb). Especially publicly, I've personally found myself unnecessarily embarrassed for not knowing simplicities. ↩
It's unclear if an ask like this should go to someone managing the team (so to speak) like Dana was, namely because there's not a public blame of the backend in the repo. But I think it's best practice to move away from communication bottlenecks anyway. ↩
