On quite a few occasions, when I decide I want to take a look at settings for Thaw, when I look at the menu bar, the icon is not there. Thaw is definitely running because I have a truncated menu bar on the right, but I have to manually launch Thaw from Spotlight to get it to show up.

• Expected vs. actual behaviour — do you expect the Thaw icon to always be visible, or did it disappear after being previously visible?
• Any workaround — can you still access Thaw (e.g., via Spotlight or the Dock)?

Dumb question but, is the Thaw icon enabled in the System Settings and Thaw Settings?

Not a dumb question — I do remember going into settings and seeing that, and it may have been off (I'm not 100% sure). But the question would be, how did it get turned off? I probably haven't given you anywhere near enough info to track down the root cause. If it happens again I'll try to see if I can glean any more info on the conditions under which it happens. Maybe it was a fluke. 🤞
