Improve transpilation workflow #26
Description
We're currently slightly dissatisfied with browserify+babel, as can be seen by this issue. Build times become increasingly long, up to 14s on my 5-year old laptop (intel i5). After seeing this article on hackernews, it might be worth looking into this again, also taking the comments on the hacker discussion into consideration.
