Yes, I am working on this. I use sea-streamer, which abstracts the backend streaming. sea-streamer currently supports kafka, redis, and basic file and stdio. I think it can meet the needs of various projects of all sizes. For kafka, I think redpanda can be used instead. It is a message middleware written in C++ and compatible with the Kafka protocol, with higher performance, greater maturity and greater reliability.
