Device connected list does not appear consistently after updating to A16 QPR1

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Delta app and click the start button to start a hotspot
2. The UI should change and show that the hotspot is running, but it doesn't.

The hotspot still actually switches on, but the UI doesn't always update. I've noticed this after updating to the latest A16 QPR1 which brought material expressive.

Expected behavior

Connected device list should show

Actual behavior

UI does not update.

Pixel 8 Pro

Crash logs

No crash, but I can paste debug logs if needed

Other info

I've doubled checked that the app has Shizuku perms.

If you force close the app and open it back, it works just fine.

Yes, I remember it happening just last week. The frequency of it happening seems to be lower though? It's more like every 10th time I would face this bug.
