Why is this feature needed?
I am struggling mighty hard to keep the hotspot on. City slickers will never have this problem, but rural towers in several states are just misconfigured and are never fixed. One tower even has the time off by an hour half the year because of daylight savings in a state that doesn't observe daylight savings. Do I report it? Yes. Does it ever get fixed after years and years? No. If hotspot requires towers to be properly configured I may as well shoot myself.
The only solution is to turn the damned hotspot back on. I have tried and failed in various frustrating ways to get a Macrodroid script to turn it on. It will usually just poll fail fail fail. I have tried airport mode. I have tried adding delays. When it wants to fail it'll just poll fail fail fail forever. The only solution is to get to the physical phone and put my mits on it, open Delta, and turn it on. This is a real pain when the phone is far away.
