I am using v21.1 on MacOS I can test this on the Linux build later when I have that computer available, I will edit this when I do. Confirmed this issue is not happening on v21.1 on Debian.
What's happening: I've seen this issue in 2 ways:
- If I skip a song, I can see that last.fm and listenbrainz both show that I am currently listening to the song I skipped, and not the one I skipped to. This results in the new song not scrobbling at all.
- If I skip a song, last.fm and listenbrainz will both show that I am listening to the song I skipped to, but will still not record the scrobble.
This doesn't seem to be a server-side issue because doing the same thing in the Navidrome web player is scrobbling everything appropriately.
These gaps in scrobbles are all where it's occurred, the songs between the song I skipped and the next song that follows after the song I skipped to are what's missing:
