  • determine a definition of SOL as a function of theta-phi
  • determine a way to summarize the SOL over the full machine

Proposed definition:

SOL(theta,phi) = ||r(theta,phi,s_FW) - r(theta,phi,s_LCFS)||

Summary of SOL: min, max, mean

  • not clear how to define the mean? volume-weighted average? simple arithmetic average?
