500 error using import.meta.glob() on markdown directory?

I'm receiving a 500 error on a list entry (using import.meta.glob() on a directory of markdown posts) when it first loads and requires a reload before it will work:

To replicate the error:

1. Go to the live demo (GH repo);
2. Click on "Journal" in the main nav -> 500 error on first load;
3. Refresh the page and it works.

From my testing:

• as far as I can tell, all the code in the page endpoint runs fine right to the end of /journal/index.svelte. There's a console.log() that always fires after the loop has run.
• locally, it doesn't matter if trailingSlashes are on or off (this error occurred after my previous Discussion question);
• locally, it doesn't matter if adapter is adapter-auto or adapter-static
• on Netlify, it only works when trailingSlashes is set to default;

Questions I have:

• If this is a true 500 error, shouldn't it show in the terminal or be written to a log somewhere?
• Could this be caused by my use of import.meta.glob() or markdown? It's a Vite method I think and I'm not sure how that fits into the big picture.
• Where can I find the SvelteKit logs? I can't find a reference to log files in the Docs.
• Why would I ever run into a 500 error when using the static adapter?
• Why would it work on reload?

I'm still not sure what the problem is but I worked around it by reverting the page endpoint to the old boilerplate method using load().
