+Large Language Models (LLMs) are powerful, but their knowledge is limited to their training data. To perform real-world tasks—like checking a database, managing a project on GitHub, or accessing real-time sales data—they need to be able to connect to external systems. Before MCP, this required custom, one-off integrations for every single tool and service, which was a huge development burden.
