"Illegal Instruction" error when running v4.0.0 standalone CLI on Debian 12 virtual machine

I attempted to run the v4.0.0 tailwindcss-linux-x64 standalone CLI on a fully-updated Debian 12 virtual machine (VirtualBox 7.1.6, Win 11 host) and got an Illegal instruction error message returned in the terminal. Looking at dmesg I see the following line:

tailwindcss-lin[9390] trap invalid opcode ip:3eb0d48 sp:7fff3a255830 error:0 in tailwindcss-linux-x64[2b2c000+345d000]

The old 3.3.3 version that I have executes without any issues. Any ideas on why I'm hitting this error with v4? The host CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, if it matters.

I'm reporting that I'm getting this as well on the standalone CLI with 4.0.0 and 4.0.3 on my local machine which is running Linux Mint (I haven't tried TW 4.0.1 and 4.0.2). I'm using tailwindcss-linux-x64. This is what happens in both cases:

./tailwindcss -h
Illegal instruction (core dumped)

FYI the dmseg info I get is:
[17166.330944] traps: tailwindcss[13647] trap invalid opcode ip:3eb0d48 sp:7ffc72427270 error:0 in tailwindcss[2b2c000+345d000]

Please note that 4.0.0 tailwindcss-linux-x64 worked fine for me on a DigitalOcean droplet, even though the exact same binary gave "illegal instruction" on Linux Mint. So there seems to be some platform-dependent problems.
