Grid , Gradient and Space-x not working

My System Laravel 7

Issue: I was not able to use bg-gradient-to-r from-red-500 as documented maybe I needed to add somthing to the tailwind.config.js I still cant figure it out.

What I did: I tried to update tailwind but it still did not work, also now my space-x- do not work anymore. I was able to just use justify-between but I really likes the space-x- function.

Anybody has any ideas?
