Documentation on README - (clone project before adding .env at root)

Hello everyone -

For the new developers out there, or for people who this might be their first open source project I had a quick idea. In the README I would like to add a note before the .env creation info that says something like "You must do a git clone of this project before this next step". It might make the writing a bit more step-by-step and leave less room for just inferring what to do.
