The new MapleStory UI likely cannot be captured by GDI (Graphics Device Interface) because the game has changed its rendering backend from traditional GDI-compatible drawing to a more modern GPU-accelerated method.
I have just developed a C++ library for this purpose. Feel free to use it. WGCapturer

In Python, there isn't an easy way to call the WGC API. Building a C DLL for Python might be the best solution.
I've been testing WGC these past few days and found that it tends to crash easily on Windows 10. There may be bugs in my code.
