I’d like to ask if using aiofastnet will make picows run faster, since I’ve noticed that uvloop doesn’t seem to provide a significant performance boost in Python 3.14.

Ah sorry, for aiohttp to use aiofastnet, you indeed need to monkey-patch

So if you monkey patch:
picows uses aiofastnet directly
aiohttp uses aiofastnet through monkey-patch

Without monkey patching:
picows still uses aiofastnet directly
aiohttp uses native loop.create_connection and other functions.
