BG4Tuned Can't play

When transitioning to the attraction or race screen, the game's fps drops dramatically and eventually freezes.
This problem occurred after updating the TeknoParrot version to 1.0.0.15xx (can't remember the exact version).
The contents of the game file have not been changed.
The menu screen works fine and allows selection of cars and courses.

This happens only when using DGVoodoo on my end. Are you using that?

Do you have any d3d9.dll in your game folder (folder with game exe)?

Could you uncheck "Professional Edition Enable" please in TPUI config and see if this problem persists?

Attract worked fine.
However, when I press the start button and insert the key, I get an I/O error.

Jumping in to say I'm having the same issue as OP described. For me if I put it in "regular" mode it works perfectly, the slowdown only occurs in Professional Mode. I have no d3d9.dll (used to for FFB plugin, but I removed it and made no difference). I am not using DGVoodoo. Professional Mode used to work, don't know if this is due to TP updates or perhaps a Windows thing (on Win 11). I having tried many combinations of adjustments and so far no luck fixing it. Oh, I should add I am on current version of TP - 1556.

Same issue with OP. Menus and startup works fine until it transitions to Attract or Race start.

Believe this is resolved by #324 in this case (at least it did for me) but still have an issue with the TPUI side of this PR (teknogods/TeknoParrotUI#1086) to resolve before merging
