Steps to reproduce

  1. In KDE Plasm -> Display Configuration -> set Scale = 130%

  1. In Telegram -> Settings -> check that Default interface scale is on and scale is also 130%

  1. in any chat press right mouse button to see context menu - it's broken (see screenshot)

Expected behaviour

context menu not broken when mouse is moving over it, selection of element under mouse

Actual behaviour

  1. broken context menu when moving mouse over it
  2. selection not under mouse but a few elements lower

if it's needed we can have a call and I will show
the problem is reproducible consistently, I can't use context menu

It sadly won't help and I don't think it could be solved with tdesktop code at all, this looks like a bug of Wayland support in old Plasma. You have to either upgrade to Plasma 6 or switch to X11 as fractional scaling support in Plasma 5 is just highly bugged

got it, thank you, will wait for the official update to Plasm 6 in Debian)
