Steps to reproduce

For several years now, Telegram has been displaying an incorrect number of unread messages from bots, maybe in channels as well, but I haven't checked that. The problem occurs when we put a Windows computer to sleep, not turn it off. Let's say we have 100 unread messages from a bot, we leave home, put the computer to sleep. Outside the house, we read some of these messages, e.g. 20, and 80 remain unread. We come home, turn on the computer, and Telegram Desktop still displays 100 unread messages in the channel, scrolling through subsequent messages, the counter is reduced by 1. If we reach the end, the list of all messages, the counter from 20 disappears completely.

Expected behaviour

Displaying the correct number of unread messages in channels after waking the computer.

Actual behaviour

Displaying incorrect number of unread messages in channel.
