Load Texture from picture does not work

I built the newest source code and output an apk, when i toggled the MenuItem " Load Texture" and selected a picture, it did not work, the texture was still and not covered by the picture i opted.

I am also facing same issue, texture not working.

reflagging this as an enhancement. that feature is by now removed.
so this issue to allow switching / picking user textures
