How do I extract a list of all my ThoughtSpot users?

Hey @twilson-ay , please use the searchable metadata. It will give you a list of 14 CSVs. The CSV : ts_user.csv will contain the details of all the users. Please refer to this guide

Thanks for this. I am sure I set up a config file earlier this year when I first set up CS Tools, however, I do not remember the name of it. Is there a way to figure out what that file was called?

• To see all your config files, the command is : cstools config show

• To check a particular config, whether its valid / working, the command is : cstools config check --config <config_file_name>

This helps a lot. I now realize what has happened. A few weeks ago I was upgraded to Windows 11 and I think it wiped out my local CS Tools settings (come to think of it I do think I had to reinstall it last week when I started doing this again).

So I'm creating a new config file and now I'm getting a message that one already exists on our server. Is there any harm in overwriting it?

You can overwrite it, no issues. Or simply you can make a new config file with a different name, either way works !

Okay. It took a little bit, but I'm all set now. I have my user list (although it's not formatted the way I'd expect, it only contains emails and not the display name). Thank you for all your help.

@twilson-ay , I cannot see any screenshots. Can we connect tomorrow / day after anytime for a troubleshoot ? My work timings are through 7:30 AM PST - 4:30 PM PST
