Last viewed at and no of views through cs_tools searchable command

Hi Team,

I am using cs_tools to get the data about all liveboards/answers Name, created at, Last Viewed at, # of views details. I did configure cs_tools and ran cs_tools tools searchable metadata --syncer "excel://filepath=export.xlsx" --config cstool to get the metadata exported. I see names and created at dates but no last viewed or no of views columns in the exported excel. I also checked in bi-server data and audit logs. Could you please let me know where I can find that information?

You need to join the searchable data (which has owner and modified info) with cs_tools tools searchable bi-server information which has the views. I recommend extracting the data to your CDW or a sql lite DB as opposed to Excel, because doing the joins needed is much easier there.

What are the names of the columns that give the views data in bi-server? When i exported that data to excel, I didn't see any such type of column.

It's not a specific field. You need to calculate based on the usage information in the TS BI Server model. So for a specific liveboard, you would look at the min(Timestamp) and max(Timestamp) across all records for the first viewed and last viewed.

Thank you!!! Instead of doing all this, can i just run this py script to get the details quickly? If yes, Is the TS_URL means thoughtspot url, username and password are my thoughspot credentials or the admin credentials i used for cs_tools? I think just filling these details and running this script should give me desired output excel?

Hi @DevinMcPherson-TS , Thank you for answering my previous questions. I have another question. When using cstools can I also get the report names details inside a liveboard. For example, if I have a liveboard and many reports created inside it. So, how can i get the report names inside it?
