App
K-9 Mail
App version
21.0
Where did you get the app from?
F-Droid
Android version
stock rom
Device model
samsung galaxy
Steps to reproduce
there is no way to add gmail oauth2 account on a private domain via pop3:
-
adding via the the wizard, e.g. "kuki@my-ws-domain.com", retrieves the server settings from my-ws-domain.com, which is NOT the gmail server.
If I had to guess, it does not retrieve by MX records, but just bluntly go where the https/s domain points. which is wrong in my case.
-
trying the edit an existing account does not give oauth2 as an option
-
trying to bypass by setting "just a" gmail account, but logging as the target user - succeeds in logging into google, but k9 fails to get the user change from google.
-
thunderbird for mobile do not even try.
Expected behavior
- choose server by relevant dns records, and not via domain name only
- let user choose oauth2 when adding pop3 account
Actual behavior
described above
