Support for dependency graph update (instead of creating and replacing as is done for now)

During the build command, the Dependency Graph is replaced entirely with the results of analysis (which may result in the exact same Dependency Graph). Allow for updates to the Dependency Graph instead of recreating it with every build command invocation. This should also help improve performance.
