Inconsistency in Steam overlay and bugging out friend list

• Patched using Adwaita v3.1
• OS: Windows 11
• Steam is on Stable Channel

The theme overall looks very good and consistent

But when it comes to the overlay and the friendlist, it looks buggy and seems like the overlay did not get applied

Overlay is not styled yet, it should look as it does in the default Steam theme excluding some widgets which were already styled elsewhere (like avatars and friends window on your screenshot).

There's not enough space for the window title when window is so narrow. Also window control buttons take up a lot of space.

I guess most of the buttons should be moved to a separate toolbar below the window title if there's not enough space, I'm not yet sure how hard it would be to implement.

For now you can make the friends window wider, dock chats to the friends list in Steam settings, set window control buttons to use GNOME or macOS style (both take much less space than Windows-styled buttons), or just hide some of the buttons.
