App name

[rafnov]

Hi.
May I suggest changing app name?
Primarly I've used it succesfully to copy my entire sms box to another phone, but then I realized it can export/import contacts and calls.
Why should app name tell it is done to export/import sms only?

Hello,

This came up already in passing a couple of years ago.

It might indeed make sense to change the name, but there are at least two points to consider:

1. It's a lot more work than it might seem, since the name appears in so many different contexts: code, resources, documentation, urls and paths, etc.
2. The app's primary focus has always been SMS and MMS messages. While some support for contacts and call logs has been added, this is not nearly as robust and well tested as the message functionality. (Contacts import in particular is somewhat flaky.)
