Google search result Categories Missing

When doing a Google search, in the past month the result categories used to show up, recently in the past few days they have turned into a blank un-clickable area. I am not sure as to why this occurs.

Google changes the classes and IDs of elements on their search pages often, meaning old selectors that worked to remove junk on Google in the past might remove important stuff now. Right now I can't recreate this issue—are you using google.com or a different one? This has happened in the past before when I tried to ship the current update so worst case I might have to disable a bit of functionality if this issue persists.

I was able to temporarily fix this issue by disabling the top row of "bubbles" in the settings menu, however I think that it has been patched since, so that's good.
